What is Hokies4Hire?
An on-line system for Virginia Tech students to particpate in:
-Virginia Tech's resume database
On-Campus Interviewing Program (OCI)
Applying for jobs, including co-ops, internships and full-time jobs
All VT students have a Hokies4Hire account; you just have to activate it!
How do I use Hokies4Hire?
1. Create an account - go to www.career.vt.edu/hokies4hire and complete your profile by completing your personal, academic, and career preference information.
2. Upload your resume. Many employers use Hokies4Hire to search for candidates for positions which they have available. But don't stop there: it's not the same as applying for positions.
3. You can view co-op, internship, and full-time jobs and take action by applying for those jobs for which you are both interested and qualified. To increase your job search opportunities seach and apply for OCI and Non-OCI job listings:
From the menu bar click OCI Jobs/Schedules and search by organization name or by major for OCI opportunities to find employers for which you want to apply that are coming on campus to conduct interviews.
From the menu bar click on Non-OCI Jobs and search by job ID number to see all jobs listed by employers for which you want to apply that are not coming to campus, but are still interested in hiring Hokies.
4. Submit your resume for review by chosen companies.
It's that simple!

the DEADLINE FOR APPLYING FOR THIS FIRST WEEK IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 .
