Commonly EACH SEMESTER there is at least one career/job fair focused on the New River and/or Roanoke valley areas.

Northern Virginia / Washington DC region:

Virginia Tech sponsored or affiliated event

National Capital Region Chapter of VT Alumni Association annual fair
- In SPRING semester, usually during spring break.
- Date varies annually.
- Even if you don't go to a fair, get on the event website and research the employers to learn about opportunity.


Virginia Tech sponsored or affiliated event

Richmond Chapter of Virginia Tech Alumni Association
- All posted on the Chapter website.
- Hosts ANNUAL RICHMOND JOB FAIR. In past years, held in May, the week after VT spring commencement. For 2012, they have scheduled this event for the Monday following VT spring break. See their website for more info. We post the fair date, when known, on our career and job fairs list.
