What is Hokies4Hire?
An on-line system for Virginia Tech students to apply for jobs, including co-ops, internships, and full-time positions. Also, to participate in Virginia Tech's On-line Resume Book (where employers can view your resume) and the On-Campus Interviewing Program. We just completed conversion to the new Hokies4Hire! Information from student accounts was successfully moved to the new system. However, to participate in the new system, you must logon to the new version, review and update your profile, and upload at least one resume. Until you do so, you will not be included in the results when employers search for candidates. If you've not already completed tehse steps, please login at www.career.vt.edu/Hokies4Hire.
How do I use Hokies4Hire?
- Complete or review and update your PROFILE.
- UPLOAD your resume into your Hokies4Hire account (at least one). You must upload a resume in order to be included in searches performed by employers.
- VIEW JOBS that match your interests and qualifications. Jobs are posted in two different categories. Non-OCI jobs and OCI Jobs/Schedules.
- Apply for Jobs for On-Campus Interviews and other Job Listings.
THE FIRST WEEK OF ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS IS SEPTEMBER 24 -28 and
the DEADLINE FOR APPLYING FOR THIS FIRST WEEK IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 .
