  • Wednesday & Thursday, August 8 & 9, 2007: closed for staff meetings
  • Thursday, October 25, 2007: university closed at 4:00 pm; football game at 7:45 pm.
  • Friday, November 16, 2007: office closed at 2:00 pm for Division of Student Affairs event.
  • Wednesday, November 21, 2007: university (and all state offices) closed at noon.
  • Thursday & Friday, November 22 & 23, 2007: university (and all state offices) closed; Thanksgiving holiday.
  • Thursday, December 6, 2007, closed 11:30 am - 1:30 pm for staff event.
  • Monday, December 24, 2007, through Tuesday, January 1, 2008, Career Services closed for Christmas and New Year holiday season (university and all state offices closed 12.24.07, 12.25.07, 12.31.07, 1.1.08).
  • Tuesday, January 8, 2008, Career Services closed for staff meeting.

  • Typically 30 minutes between 8:30 am - noon and 1:30 - 4:00 pm
  • No same-day appointments scheduled
  • Appointment can be conducted in-person, or by phone for those not in the Blacksburg vicinity
  • Offered (based on advisor availability) year-round, including semester breaks, EXCEPT during closings noted above.

  • Appointments can be conducted by phone or in-person; visit or call during office hours to schedule.
  • Advisors are not available for lengthy consultations on a walk-in basis. We'll be glad to assist you through a scheduled appointment.
