Parking passes at Visitor Center, Prices Fork Road

• Weekday visitors (who have not received a parking pass in advance) must obtain a parking pass at the Visitor Center [opened July 2011] on 965 Prices Fork Road; use entrance to The Inn at Virginia Tech.
• Directions to the Visitor Center.
• Visitor Center hours and parking on campus.

 

Directions to Smith Career Center from Prices Fork Road
— from The Inn at Virginia Tech and the Visitor Center:

1. From The Inn or Visitor Center, turn right onto Prices Fork Road.
2. From Prices Fork Road, use right turn lane to turn right at the traffic light onto West Campus Drive.
   Note that except at traffic lights with pedestrian crossing signals, vehicles should stop for pedestrians at crosswalks on campus.
3. Follow West Campus Drive to its end at the roundabout (traffic circle) where it meets Washington Street (Smith Career Center on your left at that intersection).
4. Follow the roundabout to go left onto Washington Street.
5. Take the first right into the parking lot.
6. With a visitor parking pass you may park in any section for F/S (faculty/staff) or C/G (commuter/graduate student). DO NOT PARK in spaces designated C/P (carpool passes only). SEE YOUR PARKING PASS FOR ALL RULES.
7. Smith Career Center is located across Washington Street from parking lot.
8. Main reception desk is on the 1st floor.
   Employers conducting interviews may come directly to 2nd floor reception desk.

Directions to Smith Career Center from Southgate Drive
— access Southgate Drive from Route 460:

Option 1 from Southgate Drive:

• Turn left at first traffic light onto Duck Pond Road.
• Turn right at 4-way stop onto Washington Street.
• Proceed through roundabout to stay on Washington Street; turn right into parking lot. Smith Career Center on your left after roundabout.]
• See 6., 7., and 8. above for parking and entering Smith Career Center.

Option 2 from Southgate Drive:

• Turn left at second traffic light onto Spring Road. [Lane Stadium will then be to your right on Spring Road.]
• Turn left into Coliseum lot [across from Lane Stadium gates]. Smith Career Center is on opposite corner of the Coliseum parking lot.
• See 6., 7., and 8. above for parking and entering Smith Career Center.
