Parking passes at Visitor Information Center

• Visitor parking permits are available at the Visitor Information Center on Southgate Drive, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. More visitor parking information.
• From Route 460 turn onto Southgate Drive at the traffic light (left turn if headed east on 460; right turn if headed west on 460).
• The Visitor Information Center is on the right on Southgate Drive.

Directions to Smith Career Center from Rt. 460 and Southgate Drive

The following directions for vehicle access CAN STILL BE USED during the road closing described above. Signage will alert you to changes in pedestrian access.

• Continue past the Visitor Information Center on Southgate Drive.
• Turn left at the traffic light onto Spring Road.
• Turn left into the Coliseum Parking Lot; the entrance is across from Lane Stadium.
• Proceed through the parking lot to the opposite corner to be nearer to the Smith Career Center (as parking is available); our building is located across Washington Street from the Coliseum Parking Lot.
• With a visitor parking pass you may park in any section for F/S (faculty/staff) or C/G (commuter/graduate student). DO NOT PARK in spaces designated C/P (carpool passes only).
• Main reception desk is on the 1st floor; employers conducting interviews may come directly to 2nd floor reception desk.

Directions to Smith Career Center from Prices Fork Road (and The Inn at Virginia Tech)

The following directions take into account the road closing referenced above:

• From The Inn, turn right onto Prices Fork Road.
• From Prices Fork Road, turn right at the traffic light onto West Campus Drive.
• Follow West Campus Drive to its end at the roundabout (traffic circle) where it meets Washington Street (you will see the Smith Career Center on your left at that intersection)
• Follow the traffic circle to make a right onto Washington Street (your only option to access to Washington Street during closure).
• Take the first right into the parking lot that is behind Litton Reaves and the Bioinformatics Building.
• With a visitor parking pass you may park in any section for F/S (faculty/staff) or C/G (commuter/graduate student). DO NOT PARK in spaces designated C/P (carpool passes only).
• The Smith Career Center is located across the street from Litton Reaves on West Campus Drive. Pedestrian access is open to the North main entrance.
• Main reception desk is on the 1st floor; employers conducting interviews may come directly to 2nd floor reception desk.
