What was the Class of 1997 - 98 doing after graduation?

To determine the employment status of bachelor’s degree graduates, Career Services conducts a telephone survey; 3299 students (92% of the class) who received bachelor’s degrees during 1997-98 responded. More details are explained in Methodology.

At six months post-graduation:

58% were employed
21% were seeking employment
12% were in graduate school
1% attended graduate school while working full-time
3% had part-time employment plans
5% reported no plan
The mean salary for the class was $31,523.
