What was the Class of 1996 - 97 doing after graduation?

To determine the employment status of recent bachelor’s degree graduates, 3104 students (92% of the class) who received bachelor’s degrees during 1996-97 responded to a telephone survey.
At six months post-graduation:

• 60% were employed
• 15% were seeking employment
• 14% were in graduate school
• 1% attended graduate school while working full-time
• 5% had part-time employment plans
• 5% reported no plan
• The mean salary for the class was $28,696.
