To determine the employment status of recent bachelors degree
graduates, 3104 students (92% of the class) who received bachelors degrees during
1996-97 responded to a telephone survey.
At six months post-graduation:
- 60% were employed
- 15% were seeking employment
- 14% were in graduate school
- 1% attended graduate school while working full-time
- 5% had part-time employment plans
- 5% reported no plan
- The mean salary for the class was $28,696.
