	Services
	All our career information and services for students are available to all students. Career Services strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where all students are viewed and treated as individuals, and we strive to provide resources and services responsive to the needs of diverse students. We encourage you to take advantage of all our information and services related to your career planning needs.

	Advising
	Advising is available at Career Services to discuss issues related to: - career exploration - gaining experience during college through many ways, including internships and co-ops - job search at graduation - planning for graduate school - career issues for graduate students Call 231-6241 to speak to our receptionist to schedule an appointment.

	Events
	Events calendar Many workshops and seminars are offered related to career and job search topics. Attend those of interest to you!
	Job fairs and career fairs Several different annual events are held on and off campus each academic year. Many employers attending have a commitment to diversity. Visit the websites of individual fairs to research the employers in advance, and attend those fairs that relate to your career interests.
	Diversity events Annual (late-October or early-November) Diversity Career Day held at the University of Virginia. We offer a prep event and free transportation for Virginia Tech students.
