Computer Lab at Career Services
Access and hours:
•	Up to 12 computers.
•	For students and alumni for career research and job search activities.
•	Open during our office hours.
•	No appointment or reservation is required for individuals.
•	Groups who wish to use the lab must make a request to Mary Ann Cole, by e-mail at mcole@vt.edu, or by calling 231-9616.
•	Note that everything you can do in our computer lab you can also do from any other computer with MS Word and Internet access.
•	You can ask our staff for assistance when you work in our lab.

You are welcome to use our computer lab for:
•	Preparing your resume using Microsoft Word.
•	Internet access for information, resources and research for:
	•	Career and major exploration
	•	Internships and co-ops
	•	Job search
	•	Planning for graduate or professional school
•	Internet access to eRecruiting to publish your resume and participate in the On-Campus Interviewing Program.
•	Internet access to search CareerSearch, a database of a million+ organizations to find potential employers. You can search by geographic location, type of industry or business, and by keywords. You'll find organization names with web addresses and contact names so you can research these organizations, view their web sites and find job ads, and contact them about possible job openings.
