Advisor for co-op in your ACADEMIC MAJOR DEPARTMENT
Might give you career advice AND/OR might refer you to Career Services.
Can advise you about academic course requirements.
This person might be different from your academic advisor in your major.
After you accept a co-op position and meet with your Career Services co-op advisor and write up a work-school schedule, you are required to meet with the co-op advisor in your academic major department to secure her/his approval of and signature on your work-school schedule. S/he will only approve a schedule that will have you in school during semesters necessary to take courses you need.
Read work-school schedule to learn about limitations / possibilities for your major.
To make an appointment:
Ask in your academic major department how to meet with the co-op advisor.
You might need to make an appointment directly with your advisor, or you might need to see your advisor during set office hours.
