Student check-in for interviews

(See how to get interviews before you attend the job fair.)
• Fair day is Tuesday
• Interview day is Wednesday
• Interviews are scheduled during the fair and/or Tues evening
• Weather contingency plan

Where to go: (Tentative for 2010)

If the employer gave you an interview pass, that will tell you where to go for your interview.

If the employer scheduled your interview by phone or e-mail:
• ...and you don't know the location, go to the Student Registration Desk in Cassell Coliseum.
• ...and told you your interview would be in Career Services, go to Career Services for that interview.

Employers' interview locations won't be the same as their job fair booth locations. Most employers are interviewing in Cassell, but some are interviewing in Career Services.
(We know this is a bit confusing, so don't hesitate to ask for extra clarification when you speak with the employer about your interview location.)

When to arrive:
 

At 8:00 a.m. if you have an 8:30 a.m. interview.

30 minutes in advance, if you don't know your interview location.

15 minutes in advance otherwise.

Allow sufficient time for parking and arrival.

Potential changes due to weather issues:
 

If the university has a delayed opening on interview day, this could impact the interview schedule. See weather contingency plan for details.
