| To unloading at Squires Student
Center for the fair on Tuesday: |
| |
Guests of The Inn at Virginia Tech may arrange shuttle service directly with the Inn. For guests of other hotels using private vehicles, do as follows: |
| |
Take Prices Fork Road toward downtown
and campus. Stay on Prices Fork Road until it ends on Main Street;
turn right onto Main Street. |
| |
From Main Street go straight through
the first traffic light and turn right at the next street, the Alumni
Mall entrance to campus. (Do not attempt to unload materials on
the College Avenue side of Squires; you will be ticketed.) |
| |
On Alumni Mall, make a U-turn just before
Torgersen Hall (the bridge building over the Mall) and proceed to
the unloading area on the Mall side of Squires. |
| |
Student volunteers will be available
to assist you in taking your materials inside Squires. |
| |
You will enter Squires on the second
floor; employer check-in is on that level. |
| |
You may check in when you unload, or
return to check in after parking. The student volunteers who will
assist you with unloading can provide you with a parking pass and
directions to the
Special Event Parking off Duck Pond Drive (below). The Special
Event Parking Lot is the only lot designated for CONNECTION participants
staying in off-campus hotels. Career Services does not have authority
to permit parking anywhere else on campus. |

Our CONNECTION shuttle service will
run between the Special
Event Parking Lot and Squires (Alumni Mall entrance) on 15-minute
intervals from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. |

Parking off Duck Pond Drive: |
| |
From Prices Fork Road, as you pass the
Holiday Inn on your left, get in the right lane. |
| |
Turn right at the next light onto West
Campus Drive. |
| |
Take your first right onto Duck Pond
Drive. |
| |
Go .3 mile and take your first right.
You will see the Special Event Parking Lot immediately
to your left. |
| |
The Special Event Parking Lot is the
only lot designated for CONNECTION participants staying in off-campus
hotels. Career Services does not have authority to permit parking
anywhere else on campus. |

run between the Special Event Parking Lot and Squires (Alumni Mall

| Removing your materials at the
close of the fair day: |
| |
Please remove all materials from your
booth at the close of the fair on Tuesday. (If you are staying to
interview on Wednesday, your interview location will not be the same
as your fair day booth location.) |
| |
Student volunteers will be available
to assist beginning at 3:30 pm. |
| |
The shuttle service to the Special Event
Parking Lot on Duck Pond Drive will run until 5:30 pm from Squires
(Alumni Mall entrance; same level as employer check-in). |

Guests of off-campus hotels using private vehicles: Go to the Special Event Parking Lot
