Job search tools and services
All services are useful for recent graduates. Exp. = also recommended to experienced professionals.

•	VT CareerLink Exp. Alumni who have volunteered as networking contacts for job search and career information; excellent resource for all job seekers; networking is the number one source by which people find jobs.

•	CareerSearch Exp. A database of 900,000+ organizations nationwide, covering a wide spectrum of industries, to search for potential employers and contacts. Excellent tool for all job seekers - from undergrads seeking internships to experienced professionals - who are targeting specific geographic locations and specific industries.

•	Use Hokies4Hire and the On-Campus Interviewing Program:
	1.	Request a Hokies4Hire account All currently enrolled VT students automatically have an account. If you completed your degree more than a month ago, you may request an account by sending an e-mail, as follows: SUBJECT: requesting H4H account E-mail content must include: • your full name • an accurate e-mail address • your Virginia Tech PID • your Virginia Tech degree and major or graduate program • your Virginia Tech graduation year Send to: Ms. Lora Price Recruiting Services Associate llprice@vt.edu Your account will be activated by 5:00 p.m. the next business day.
	2.	One you have an account, view and apply for jobs in Hokies4Hire
	3.	On-Campus Interviewing Program jobs are in Hokies4Hire. OCI program offers employers interview dates throughout nine weeks of fall semester and nine weeks of spring semester; to be considered for interviews, candidates must review jobs and apply in advance. Recent graduates who reside in proximity to Blacksburg and thus can easily travel to campus for interviews are encouraged to view the opportunities and apply for jobs.
